I believe the essence of putting a look together is to enhance the natural features of your home. Just like fashions come and go, the same can be said for interiors. Those that turn heads are the schemes with timeless elegance and not a passing trend. Working to bring decoration, fabrics and accessories together by layering textures throughout the room.

Getting started can often be the hardest part, especially if you are redecorating and striving for a completely new look. My starting point is always to follow your instinct when it comes to colour and patterns. Our homes are our sanctuaries, the places we retreat to after a hard day and where we spend time with our friends and families. The rooms in our home may have a specific purpose but should always exude comfort, peace and serenity. So, it’s important to remember those fabrics and cushions that caught your eye and let me work them into a scheme that will always inspire you. We all have treasured items such as pictures or an old chair so my route will be to put a scheme together with as many of those key possessions as possible for a truly personalised result.

Curtains, Blinds and Soft Furnishings

All my soft furnishings are hand made in our own sewing room in North Yorkshire or locally in the Vale of Belvoir. My projects come in all shapes and sizes from cottages to hotels and conference rooms to retail shops meaning as well as being beautiful, schemes and fabrics often need to be hardy and durable.

I can offer as little or a much as a customer requires, arranging all elements of fitting and hanging curtains or simply delivery to your door. The beauty being you can choose from a wide range of fabric in the comfort and relaxation of your own home rather than in a store where it’s often so difficult to imagine the cloth in situ and what the overall effect will be.

 

Design Fees

All projects are bespoke to each new customer and I am delighted to discuss your project informally on the phone or by email first. My absolute priority is a warm and friendly service.

Soft furnishing design and measuring starts from £40 within a 20 mile radius to whole room design at £150. Sourcing and delivering furniture and accessories starts at £30 per hour or £200 per day. Please do get in touch for further information.
